To Our Dear Friends, Customers and Partners:
Sandy and I are very pleased to announce that Phillips International/Cool Jewels® has agreed to be acquired by Nature Planet®, a Danish company and leading Global Supplier of primarily toys and plush animals, with a loyal customer base in the EU and US markets.
There is a strong symmetry between our companies, as we share a philosophy of building long-term relationships with retail partners, suppliers, internal and external team members, while also leading the industry in supporting children’s charities, the building of schools and health clinics, planting trees, cleaning our oceans and protecting animal habitats. A desire to do the right thing and make the world a better place fuels the fire within both organizations.
While Nature Planet® is headquartered in Denmark, their US entity – Nature Planet® Inc – last year acquired Wishpets® and Wildlife Artists. We have now joined this collaboration with Nature Planet® to secure a strong future for Phillips aka Cool Jewels®. Moving forward, Phillips International will be able to explore the full potential of its varied product lines both in the US and on a larger global scale, beginning with expansion into the European market. The further growth of our Conservation lines, including Live-Love-Protect™, 1 Tree Mission®, Clear Seas Project®, Semi-Precious Stone Expressions® and more, will enable us to continue planting trees (now surpassing 650,000 planted), clean up more waterways and help ensure a future for our precious wildlife.
Both Sandy and I shall continue as the Executive officers of Phillips International/Cool Jewels®, overseeing the daily operations, imports, line developments, sales, etc., and its continued growth. While we are now under the Nature Planet umbrella, with CEO Mr. Soren Lund, we will proceed with our continued commitment to you, to be your dependable, professional supplier, focused on helping you maximize your Jewelry sales and profits. For our team, suppliers, and business partners, there will be no notable changes in our day-to-day contacts or processes.
We would like to thank our entire staff, our wonderful managers, and our internal and outside sales/service team members – who together have made this smooth transition possible. Most of all, we would like to thank you, our deeply appreciated friends (and buyers), accounts and entities who continue to place your faith and trust in us. Your support has enabled us to provide you with great designs, superlative presentations, and strong sales. Thank you.
